London was the site of this year World Championships for the Para Athletics. The location was the London Stadium at the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park where the London 2012 Paralympics Games took place. The Championships took place from 14th to 23rd July 2017.
These championships have been the most popular games with an attendance greater than any other championships combine.
The athletes were so overwhelmed with the reception that they are hoping that London could host the championships every time, as they loved competing in stadiums full of spectators.
The reason that I love the Para Athletics is that these athletes are highly competitive and give amazing performances. These athletes have chosen sport as their profession, and few that are able to have full-time jobs and still being world champions.
I started watching these athletes since the London 2012 Paralympic Games. I was surprise that even with their disabilities are able to compete in this high stressful situation. I was inspired about their stamina and that even with their disability they were athletes in the top of their profession, as qualifying for the Paralympic Games is not easy job.
